Excellent Scope for The Money!! Must Buy!
I bought one of these for my new Sig 556 rifle. It is a extremely well built scope and left room on the upper receiver rail mount to put a back up Sampson flip up iron sight. The QR handle is easy to adjust the tension on, though once you set it up I suggest putting some blue Loctite on the adjuster screw / nut. New Century (NC Star) does not guarantee no zero loss on their quick release, but I have not had an issue with loosing zero now that I have the tension nut adjusted and Loctited. The manual was easy to read and understand. Zeroing at the range was a snap @100 yards. The dual illumination with adjustable intensity worked as advertised. The BDC got me out to 400 yards with 62gr FMJ BT 5.56mm loads with no issues and kept a tight pattern. The lens caps fit well but flip-ups would be nice. The last time I shot with the scope it was about 42deg F outside and the scope did not fog up. Extremely good scope for the money.
